Make a Difference in Olivia's Life!

Do you have a passion for caring and a heart for making a positive impact? We are searching for an enthusiastic Complex Care Support Worker to join Olivia's team.

Olivia, born in 2005, is a vibrant, music-loving young lady with a passion for rock music, chocolate cake, and all things sparkly! She enjoys hydrotherapy, trips to the shops, and being pampered – especially when it comes to doing her hair. Olivia is full of life and always up for some fun!

Olivia has Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, and a visual impairment, which means she requires full-time complex care. She is fed via a gastrostomy PEG, follows a 24-hour postural management plan, and relies on her wheelchair. But more than anything, she loves to know what’s happening around her – communication is key to her happiness and wellbeing.

Your role will be to assist Olivia with every aspect of her daily life, from personal care and therapy to fun activities both in the family home and out in the community. You will be a part of a caring and supportive environment, working in a fully adapted home with accommodation available while on duty.

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience with complex medical needs, including PEG feeding and suctioning
  • A full driver’s license and ability to drive Olivia's automatic wheelchair-adapted vehicle
  • Compassion, patience, and a passion for care
  • Experience working with young adults
  • An interest in therapy

Pets: The household includes a friendly dog and some birds (don't worry, they’re in cages!).
