About The Role
Location: Andover, Hampshire
Days & Hours: 7 hours per week on a Saturday from 10am - 5pm. This will be on a rota basis of working 3 Saturdays on and then the following 2 Saturdays off.
Pay: £15 per hour, Weekends
Driver required? Essential, using your own vehicle (business mileage will be paid and business insurance will be required)
Driving Clients Car? No
Using Own Vehicle for work purposes? Yes, when on duty and to attend training, business insurance required and a mileage paid
Essential: Supporting adults with mild Cerebral Palsy, poor motor co-ordination and severe learning difficulties.
Desirable: Experience of working with vulnerable adults, in their own home and out in the community.
Family Pets: 2 dogs

Introduction to Rachel
Rachel, born in 1988, is a very chatty young lady who is friendly, sociable, considerate and kind.  Her family are important to her along with her two dogs. She likes to eat out with her family, especially pizza!  She enjoys shopping in charity shops, going on holiday with her Support Worker, watching TV and playing Candy Crush on her iPad.
 
Rachel has mild Cerebral Palsy with poor motor co-ordination and severe learning disabilities.  She can sometimes become anxious when out in the community and is not always aware of the dangers when crossing the road.  
 
You will be guided by her family and Case Manager to provide Rachel with a high standard of care and monitoring. You will help Rachel around the house and in the community, promoting her independence at all times. You will also support her to access all leisure activities, which will also include, encouraging considering new pursuits and interests.  There may be a need to help with personal care.

Pay and Benefits:
  • £15 per hour, Weekends
  • On-going training & support provided
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata

In order to promote continuity of our high care standards, you will be offered:
