About The Role

Location: Lyndhurst, SO43
Days & Hours: 4 hours per week to help with shopping and going for a drive, 
there is some flexibility with hours.  Adrian would prefer mornings.  There are also bank hours to cover absences of the current team.
Pay: Weekdays £13.23 per hour / Weekend: £14.33 per hour.  Travel allowance and mileage can be considered and discussed at interview. 
Driver required? Essential
Using Own Vehicle for work purposes? Yes, On duty and to attend training, must have business insurance and a mileage would be paid
Essential: Supporting adults with a disability (physical, cognitive or mental health) 
Desirable: Experience working with adults with learning difficulties.
Family Pets: 1 dog
Interviews Week Commencing: As and when applications are received, these may be held by video calling.
Start Date: ASAP (subject to satisfactory employment checks)

Introducing Adrian
Your main role will be to support our client with social and leisure activities with the objective of enabling him to pursue a fulfilling and active lifestyle.  He enjoys going out for dog walks, going to garden centres, to the beach and having lunch out.  He is fun loving with a good sense of humour but does need reassurance and encouragement at times. 
 
Adrian is in his 60s and lives with a mild learning difficulty, he had an accident which has left him with some physical disabilities affecting his balance.  He is a very independent gentleman but does require support with tasks such as shopping, attending appointments, completing admin tasks and social activities.

Pay and Benefits:

In order to promote continuity of our high care standards, you will be offered:

About You

ILS Case Management is the UK's leading independent nationwide Case Management company.

When a person’s life has been changed by injury, we address the practicalities.  We work with children and adults who have had moderate or catastrophic, complex injuries.  We assess individual needs and are able to provide a comprehensive Case Management designed to maximise independence.  We are CQC registered and compliant with their standards.

Our Case Managers work closely with our Clients, and we carry out all the recruitment processes on behalf of our Clients; and will support you, from your initial telephone interview right through to arranging employer interviews, trial shifts and placement.

If you are successfully recruited, you will be employed directly by our client or their Deputy appointed by the Court of Protection.  However, ILS will manage your day to day employment, providing you with the support you need to carry out your role.  Working as a Carer or Support Worker for an ILS client means that you will have a dedicated Case Manager to oversee your client's care needs.
