Sabrina was born in 2006 and lives with her parents and twin sister.  She has a very kind and caring nature and always tries her best.  Family and friends are very important to her, and Sabrina loves family holidays. She enjoys spending time with animals especially horses and has an interest in hair and make-up.  Her phone is also important to her, but she can become addicted, so participating in other activities is encouraged. She enjoys the cinema and Costa visits. She loves shopping and crazy golf.

Sabrina suffered a hypoxic brain injury at birth and suffers with anxiety and behavioural issues, she is learning techniques to manage this.

Sabrina requires support to maximise her independence and organisation skills.  The role also includes helping Sabrina in the wider community to access activities and ensure her safety at all times.  Animals, particularly horses are really important to her, so it would be advantageous for the Support Worker to be an animal lover with a pro-active and positive demeanour.  Sabrina also enjoy to cook and you will need to support her with this activity.  You will also be required to assist with personal needs, promoting her independence wherever possible.  You will be supported by family members and a team of therapists.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated person to join a friendly and committed home care team and develop existing skills to support this young lady.  A truly rewarding role for someone who is able to communicate effectively and an ability to work with patience, tact, understanding, warmth and compassion.
