Hi, I’m Dom – and I’m looking for a new Support Worker to join my team in Weymouth!
I was born in 1977 and live with Cerebral Palsy, but that doesn’t stop me from enjoying life. I’ve got a great sense of humour (if I do say so myself), I’m easy-going, and I love spending time with my family. I enjoy darts and snooker, working on my computer, and having my own space at home. I also volunteer at a local charity shop, which I really enjoy.
I’m looking for someone who can support me both at home and out in the community. You’ll be helping me with personal care, therapy exercises, and making sure I stay safe when we’re out and about. I use a powered wheelchair and have some limited movement, so I need someone who’s calm, proactive, and ready to get stuck in – especially if you like swimming, because that’s one of my favourite ways to stay active! You will need to like swimming and be able to drive my Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle.

- Hours: Average of Approximately 30 hours a week based on a 4-week rolling rota
- Pay:
- Weekdays: £15.00 per hour
- Weekends: £16.00 per hour
- Sleeping Nights: National Living Wage currently £12.21 per hour
- Driver? Yes, please – you’ll need to drive my wheelchair-adapted vehicle (automatic) and sometimes use your own car for training or work purposes.
- Accommodation while on duty: You’ll have your own bedroom and bathroom upstairs.
