- *Female due to providing personal care
- Must be able to work with specialist equipment (training will be provided). A Handling Management Plan is available and is designed to reduce the risk of handling injuries, but you may be required to bend, kneel, squat, push or pull.
- Experience with working with hydrocephalus, global development delay and Fallots Tetralogy (congenial cardiac disease)
- Confident and comfortable working in Louise’s own home and sensitive to the needs and wishes of her and her family
- Can demonstrate commitment and passion for meeting Louise's needs
- Can demonstrate empathy and understanding in an appropriate and professional manner
- A team player who understands the importance of feedback to qualified members of the team
- Can develop productive and professional relationships with others
- Actively creates an inclusive environment respecting diversity
- Good organisational skills who can adhere to standards and quality requirements
- Friendly, approachable with a proactive and encouraging approach
- Water confident to assist with swimming
- Punctual, patient, reliable and trustworthy
- Can maintain an excellent level of confidentiality
- Good verbal & written communication skills and IT literate
- Able to think creatively and to use initiative
- Willingness to work flexibly and cover shifts, sometimes at short notice
- A full driving licence (endorsements to be disclosed)
