Hi, I'm Tanya!

I was born in 2009 and live at home with my mum, dad, and big brother. I love swimming, hydrotherapy, and being around people.  I’m very sociable! I have Cerebral Palsy and use a wheelchair. I don’t speak with words, but I use a communication folder and non-verbal cues to let you know what I need and how I feel. I’m PEG fed and supported 24/7 by a brilliant team of carers.

What I Need Help With

I’m looking for kind and committed Support Workers to join my team. You’ll help me with everyday tasks, support me at home and out and about, and work alongside my Case Manager and Therapists to help me live my best life. I’d also like a Deputy Team Leader to assist the Team Leader with managing the care team and taking responsibility for managing the team in their absence.

What You’ll Get

  • Ongoing training and support
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro rata)
  • Pension (subject to eligibility)
  • Free DBS check
  • Induction and relevant training (including The Care Certificate)
  • Regular clinical supervision and review meetings
  • Support from my dedicated Case Manager and HR team

Recruitment Info

  • Interviews: As applications come in – may be via video link
  • Start Date: ASAP (subject to pre-employment checks

Safeguarding

My team is committed to keeping me safe. You’ll need:

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
  • Satisfactory references (including your most recent employer)
  • An enhanced DBS check (a conviction won’t necessarily stop you from working with me)
