Hours: Current shift patterns include a mixture of evening and longer day shifts, for example:
- Monday, Wednesday and Thursday: 3:30pm to 10:00pm (Approx)
- Tuesday: 2:30pm to 10:00pm (Approx)
- Friday: 10:00am to 10:00pm (Approx)
- Night shifts may be available in the future.
Its important that our client is given the independence of choosing her bedtime and for this reason finish times will be somewhat flexible.
Flexibility is important, as shifts may vary depending on activities, appointments, and our client's individual needs. Applicants willing to support occasional later evenings, weekends, respite support, and future sleep-in opportunities would be welcomed.
Pay:
- Weekdays: £16.32
- Weekend days: £17.62
- Sleeping nights: NLW

Our client is an inspiring young woman with Cerebral Palsy who is looking to expand her support team as she continues her journey into adulthood. She is a full-time wheelchair user and requires support with personal care and daily living activities; however, her vibrant personality, determination, and sense of humour are what truly define her. She is highly sociable, loves meeting new people, and enjoys helping others within her community.
Our client communicates using a sophisticated AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) device, which she controls through precise head movements. Through this technology, she is able to express her thoughts, make choices, and actively direct her own life. She is passionate about music, enjoys sharing her favourite artists with those around her, and has aspirations to explore opportunities within the music industry, including DJing. She recently enjoyed volunteering within her local community, using her communication device to engage confidently with members of the public.
This is an exciting opportunity to support a bright, ambitious young adult who is keen to develop her independence, access new experiences, and build meaningful relationships. We are looking for Support Workers who can bring enthusiasm, creativity, and positive energy to her life whilst supporting her to achieve her goals and become part of a developing team.
The family have two very playful, but gentle, family dogs.
