About The Role
We require Posture Management Advisors from East Sussex, West Sussex and Kent to join our team.  The role is offered on a part-time, freelance/self-employed basis.  You will be home based with travel to the client's home within your geographical area.

You will be an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist with comprehensive postgraduate training in posture management and have experience of working at senior level within either community settings with complex needs clients and/or within wheelchair services.

You should be confident in working independently with children and adults, their families and care teams.

You will be required to:
 Provide a comprehensive Posture Management assessment of the client, in postures relevant to the individual (sitting, lying and standing).
• Produce Posture Management reports, risk assessments and 24-hour posture management plans for clients.
• Provide and run Posture Management training for the client’s carers and family.
• Provide advice to and liaise with stakeholders as required.
About You
You will have:
• Occupational Therapy qualification/ Physiotherapy Qualification
• Current Professional registrations/ memberships (e.g RCOT, PMG, PM24)
• HCPC registration
• Up to date portfolio (CPD)
Train the Trainer certificate
You will be able to demonstrate:
Understanding of 24-hour posture management approach and setting up a posture management plan
Experience of assessment of client’s functions and needs
Understanding of carrying out a variety of risk assessments
Experience of goal setting for clients
Experience and a commitment in setting and meeting tight deadlines
Experience in working within a Multi Disciplinary Team
You will be able to offer:
• A good knowledge of rehabilitating clients with complex needs
• Ability to provide excellent written and oral communications
• Commitment to working with clients with complex needs, to work on their behalf and in their best interest
• Commitment to delivering a high standard of professionalism to clients, families, Solicitors, Deputies etc
• Self motivated, able to set challenging but attainable goals and ensure they are met
• Ability to inspire and motivate others
