Nadine has a learning disbility and suffers with motor dysfunction and limited co-ordination of fine movement; however, she is independently mobile.  She is visually impaired but can watch TV at close proximity to the screen.  Nadine is able to speak in a limited way with a constrained vocabulary, she can recognise simple words but is unable to read.  Nadine also has Epilepsy although she has been fit free for a long time now.

Although Nadine is very outgoing, she does not like crowded places, loud noises or routine change, she will require a lot of reassurance with these particular things.  She likes to be busy but have structure to her day as this makes her feel secure.

You will be taking direction from the Case Manager to ensure that Nadine receives the small amount of personal care she requires and help within the community attending outings and supervising her in a voluntary job she is looking to start.
