Days & Hours: Wednesday and Friday 2pm-5pm and flexibility to carry out further shifts from 4pm-6pm during the week and 10am-6pm on Saturdays
Pay: £15.00 per hour

Essential: Supporting young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs. Confident with behaviour management and de-escalation techniques.
Desirable: Experience working with young people with Autism and an interest in therapy

Accommodation (while on duty): Use of an office which is used rarely by the family.

Felix is 14 and has an engaging personality. He loves trains, public transport, washing machines and talking with 'Alexa'. He enjoys Swimming, Theatre, Bowling and going out for trips on a train.
Felix has Epilepsy, Autism and Learning Difficulties and you will be part of a small care team to ensure that he receives all the care he requires. Supporting him to ensure he stays safe during activities both inside the home and within the local community. He requires assistance with his daily routines and personal care needs. The role will include a mixture carrying out Felix's therapy programmes, carrying out fun and engaging leisure activities with him, supporting him with self care activities and managing his bedtime routine.
This job will suit someone who is calm but very proactive and able to bring lots of enthusiasm to the role. Ideally you will be water confident as Felix enjoys swimming, and this is a great physio activity.
